I could swear that it was the worst car ride that I had ever had in my life. The snow blizzard was unbearable, the road was slipper, and of course, there was a traffic jam on our way. We couldn"t have imagined a better afternoon! But that was not enough! Fanny had forgotten to buy snow tyres. It was the beginning of December, so she thought she still had time. But she was not an inexperienced driver at all and she knew very well that winter can arrive unexpectedly and that having your regular tyres at that time can be really dangerous, especially in a city like ours. She was perfectly aware of that, and yet she had not thought of such a crucial thing as snow tyres replacement! I was angry and I was no trying to hide it at all. The car in front of us also seemed to be moving with difficulties and what"s more, the driver had problems braking in time. We had to keep a distance and be careful. Finally the traffic was becoming less and less dense and we could move on a bit faster. I was still angry, and I suggested that the first thing that Fanny should do was to buy a set of snow tyres. She promised to do so, and I promised that I would check if she really did so. Otherwise I would refuse to go with her anywhere in her car in such ugly weather.
